Error correction switches to H automatically so the code still scans with a logo.
How to make a QR code with yqr.me
- Choose Link QR or Wi-Fi QR and enter the address or the network name and password.
- Pick a quick style, then open Colors, Shape, Logo or Frame to fine-tune the look.
- Check the status under the preview. It warns you about low contrast or a missing quiet zone before you print.
- Download PNG, SVG or PDF. A link code gets a short yqr.me address. Changing the destination later is coming soon.
Frequently asked questions
Is yqr.me really free?
Yes. Creating and downloading QR codes is free. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no trial that ends.
Does the QR code expire?
A Wi-Fi code holds the network data itself, so it works forever. A link code points to a short yqr.me address that we keep active.
Why does a link QR code use a short link?
A short address makes a simpler pattern that is easier to scan, and it keeps the code small even for a very long link.
Which file format should I download?
Use PNG for screens and documents. Use SVG or PDF for print: they are vector files and stay sharp at any size.
Can I put a logo in the middle?
Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG or SVG, or use a built-in icon. The error correction switches to level H, so the code still scans. Keep the logo at 30% of the code or smaller.
How do I know the code will scan?
The status under the preview checks contrast, quiet zone and corner eyes. Dark code on a light background scans best. Always test a printed code with your own phone.
What data do you store?
Wi-Fi names and passwords stay in your browser and are never sent to us. For a link code we store the destination address and anonymous scan statistics, without IP addresses.
